We're Home!

We just returned from a fun trip to Utah to see my parents. The kids had so much fun, especially Tyler who has a ton of friends in the neighborhood. Utah is so different than Washington. The kids can just run around the neighborhood and I don't really have to worry at all. Pleasant Grove is a nice little town. Tyler didn't come home before 9 p.m. if he could help it, because it stayed light out for so long. Emily (2 year's old) had a tougher time of it all. On Monday we went to some water slides and she slipped and fell after we had only been there about 30 minutes. I had to take her to the E.R. where they sedated her and gave her 5 stitches in her little chin, but she was a trooper and was up and running around that night.

It is good to be home!

They had a great time. Their main calling was to teach the native missionaries English. They taught a ton of English classes and also published a manual for English Speaking missionaries to teach their companions. The mission president there was big on helping those missionaries get ahead. After their missions they will have a great advantage if they know Enlglish. They loved the people they served in their tiny branch, but are overjoyed to be back into civilization!
