Yes! My mother in law suggested we go to a restaurant this year for Thanksgiving and my first thought was....NOOOOOOO!!!! But now it sounds like a pretty good idea. I made a chocolate pie yesterday and I will be making rolls today. That means we will be eating all of the yummy homemade things all week instead of just on Thanksgiving. It wouldn't be the same if I didn't. So, the guys still get to do the Turkey bowl Thursday morning. Tyler is so excited about that and then we will head off to have someone else cook and clean everything. Is this bad?

That is BRILLIANT! I just walked in from the grocery story and COSTCO... fighting the crowds for the fixings! You will actually go home and take a nap on Thanksgiving day instead of doing the dishes!!

LOVE IT! We are joining the Arbons and Burts in Newport at a restaurant there. It's all the same, we're thankful people...giving thanks, spending it with those we love and loving those who clean up after us.
Can't wait to hear about it. Sister Callender is a GREAT Hostess.
Every year we say how wonderful it would be to just go out to dinner somewhere and have the rest of the day to spend together instead of cleaning up. We've never actually been brave enough to do it. You guys are smart, if you ask me.
sounds good to me too. we are going out this year as well. there is no point in cooking a thanksgiving dinner for only 2 people! althought it didn't dawn on me until this past sunday that going out means no leftovers...no that made me think! i think you have the right idea in making it anyway and enjoying it all week long...i am going to do that too! wish we were there to go out with you guys!!!
Fabulously BRILLIANT!! seriously. The thought of not having to clean up is just about the happiest idea. ever. Enjoy every minute of it!
sounds great! We would be going out too if we weren't invited somewhere. I can't imagine cooking a huge Thanksgiving feast for 4 people!!
Happy Turkey Day!
Good for you - let's hear how it was - someday I'll be eager to do that.
we went out for several years at one point. Prefer the cooking, but it was a nice change of pace.
