Great news! We have a NEW roller rink that just opened up in our town last week. I can't wait to go and try it out this weekend with the kids. The roller rink used to be one of my favorite places as a kid, except the smoke, sticky seats, and scary people lurking around. Well, we have a brand new rink so no bad smells or sticky seats...yet. We will probably have some weirdos, but I won't just drop my kids off like my mom did.

Fun! My mom used to do the same thing! I thought the guys who could skate backwards were sooooo cool!

That...is...awesome!!!! I heard there was one going in but I had no idea it was already built and up and running. The skating rink was my hang out back in the day also and it's so funny how times have changed b/c my parents would just drop me off, too. Can't wait to take the kids, so fun!

i know! my parents used to drop me off at skate king for HOURS. i think we should go there on a date!! i have 2 for 1 tickets i picked up at cake. wanna go???
