Marshall and Emily all dressed up ready to watch Uncle Walter play some football.
Marshall and Tyler went to Oklahoma last weekend to watch Walter play and had a great father/son trip together. I was pretty jealous that they were in some warm weather while we are here in wet Washington freezing! Go Iowa State!

So who is Walter? I'm assuming it's Marshall's brother...since you don't have a brother named Walter :). Your kids look way cute in their digs, and I just noticed that your husband looks a little like this actor named Kyle Chandler. Not well known but he was in the movie Pure Country. You can google him if you're curious!
what a cute little cheerleader! i'll have to ask neil to get me caught up on iowa state football. looks like a lot of fun.
Walter is Marshall's younger brother. He is in his senior year now at Iowa State. He played for Dixie the first two years. He is a great player, but unfortunately they haven't really been passing or using their tight ends much this year. Marshall and I have been watching the show "Friday Night Lights" and Kyle Chandler is the football coach. He is a handsome guy. Sherrie, don't ask Neil about the team this year. They have the second toughest season in all of college football this year and have only won 3 games so far. Walter is frustrated, but what can you do? It is fun have someone to root for, but sad that they have lost so much.
I keep asking myself why can't I like really good teams? I despise the evil empire called the yankees, and the other one the lakers, never liked the bulls, never ever liked Dallas Cowboys, and cannot like anyone but BYU football. I can't even like the Boise State Broncos even though we've lived here for 6 years, I'm true blue through and through. It is fun to have someone to root for though. Looks like the boys had a good time.
BYU is a really good team this year! Don't turn on them during the bad years though. Marshall loves his BYU cougars, just like my dad. My dad used to wake us up by turning on our light and singing the BYU fight song. We hated it! Oh, and he would be wearing his 30 year old BYU robe...good memories.
Don't worry I've never turned, I can't. My parents never cared about BYU so I don't know where I picked up my complete loyalty, except that Bren and I went to a game on our 2nd date, but it seemed I was already a fan. Maybe I was born that way. They are doing really well this year. Have a good one E!
You have such a beautiful fam Erika! Cute pics!
I love the Cheerleader outfit! I need to get some of those in Husky or Seahawks colors. Such cute pics!
